Almost every industry uses fluidisation in their manufacturing processes. It’s an energy-intensive process that generates high emissions and causes waste. Potter’s discovery was the reduction in both by introducing gravity into the process.
The OPXFLO business was created to commercialise these patents. We were engaged alongside Awe Studios to work with the founders on creating a strong go-to-market brand strategy that made sense of the technology, shifting perceptions of the business from the academic to the inspiring, while honouring Potter’s legacy.
With the idea of a "win for business" and a "win for the planet” at the heart of all they do, the name ‘Venso’ was created as a masterbrand that represented this venn diagram, with the O a nod to Owen’s name.
The brand architecture saw the Venso name applied across the business, from parent company (VensoLabs), through to the technology itself (VensoFlow) and lead commercialisation offering (VensoGrow).
With the brand strategy in place, we worked with the Awe Studios team to bring it all to life, explaining the technology in an accessible way, and writing the web copy that outlined the benefits and the company’s vision for a more productive, sustainable planet.
